A country church since 1773

Come as you are.
Be known, and belong.

For two and a half centuries, neighbors have gathered here in Amwell to worship, to serve, and to care for one another. Whoever you are, there is a place for you at the table.

Your first Sunday, made simple

No need to dress up or know anyone. Walk in, find a seat, and let us welcome you. Here is what to expect.

When to arrive

Worship begins at 10:00 AM. Come a few minutes early for coffee and conversation in the fellowship hall.

What it's like

A warm, traditional service of song, scripture, and a message rooted in following the way of Jesus together.

Your children

Children's Church is available during worship. Little ones are always welcome with us too, wiggles and all.

What we believe

Continuing the work of Jesus. Peacefully. Simply. Together.

We are part of the Church of the Brethren, a historic peace church that traces its roots to 1708. Our faith is less about words to recite and more about a life to live.

The way of Jesus

We seek to follow Christ's example in daily life, not only in belief. Scripture is our guide, and discipleship is the goal.

Peace and reconciliation

As one of the historic peace churches, we are committed to peacemaking, simple living, and serving our neighbors near and far.

Community and the table

We practice believer's baptism and gather for the love feast and communion, remembering that faith is lived together.
